With a pontoon plane with Trans Maldivian airline from the small seabased airport next to Ibrahim Nasir International Airport in Male. The destination is one of the southernmost atolls of the archipelago, Nilandhe and the island Meedhuffushi. The flight offers beautiful views of the archipelago from above. Landing on water is smooth and we disembark onto a floating pier where a boat pick us up and take us to beautiful Vilu Reef hotel. When we walk inwards the island, we get the company of a man who welcomes us by playing a drum while he shows the way.
