Northeast of Kuta is the coastal settlement of Sanur with its long fine white beach. The area has plenty of nice hotels and restaurants, which often have more Balinese style than what you usually find in Kuta. The beach is lined with cafés and hotels. The water outside is full of the typical colorful boats, Jukung, which is so typical in Bali.
