Modern hotel with rooftop pool and bar, SoHo NYC
In the southwestern corner of SoHo, bordering Tribeca, lies luxurious The James in one of the tallest buildings in the area. On the roof is one of the few hotel pools in this neighborhood, with absolutely stunning views of downtown Manhattan. In the evenings, the rooftop bar is home to a cool club, The Jimmy, and who can resist a delicious drink in good company with a great view of New York City.

TV and movie trivia about the place where The James is located
På platsen där The James ligger låg tidigare Moondance Diner. En klassisk amerikansk diner som bland annat var platsen där Peter Parkers flickvän jobbar i första Spiderman filmen, Monica Geller tvingas ha på en peruk och dansa på disken när hon jobbar här och dessutom förkommer i Sex & the City serien.
On the site where The James is located today you could find Moondance Diner a few years previously. This classic American diner was among other things featured as the place where Peter Parker’s girlfriend works in the first Spiderman movie, where Monica Geller was forced to wear a wig and dancing on the barr while she works here and one of the place the girls in Sex & the City series visits.
We visited Moondance Diner just a few months before it was closed down. The building was then sent on to another place in the United States.
