Seychelles’ third largest island, and one of our favorite destinations. La Digue is a genuine paradise, without car traffic. On this island you will find some of the world’s most beautiful beaches.
When to visit La Digue
Plan your trip to Seychelles from what you want to do. Windsurfing and sailing are usually best during May to October. Diving is best in March-May and September-November.
Accommodation is as its highest during peak season which is December, January and July and August.
Getting around La Digue
On La Digue are no buses and a very limited number of vehicles, some of which are taxis. Here you as a tourist taking ox-wagon to transport from one place to another. The most common is to rent bikes and get around that way. Another nice way to get around is on foot.
Safety
La Digue is a quiet island There are hardly any cars to get around mostly by bicycle.
Life is quiet and there is not much nightlife here. You may feel quite safe!
