When to visit Mexico
Mexico is a year around destination even though some probably would prefer to go in the period between October and May. The southern part of the country could get really hot and humid during these periods of months. In the mid part of the country it can get really cold during the month of December.
Getting to Mexico
Several airlines connect Europe with Mexico on direct flights to Mexico City and Cancún. America and Canada connects with Mexico on lots of destinations.

Getting around in Mexico
Domestic flights are the easiest way to get around quickly. Buses run most everywhere in Mexico and are sufficient for short distances, but can get tiresome on long hauls especially during hot days. There’s often a few different standards options with the nices ones guarantes you a specific seat you when you buy the ticket and often have more legroom and Airconditioning.
The traveler must complete a tourist card on the inbound flight to Mexico. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of the return trip.
Tipping is good custom in Mexico. At restaurants you should add 15%.
The cleaning personal at hotels appreciates some tip. One US Dollar is usually enough.
Taxi drivers don’t expect tip.
Guides expect to get something extra after a guided tour.

Banks opening hours are Monday – Friday between 9AM – 1.30PM. Some banks are open until 4 or 8PM.
Shops are open between 9AM-8PM.Many shops closes during the warmest hours in the middle of the day.
