A small picturesque village south of Estepona, Spain, which was founded in the mid 1600’s. When was the village of Manilva part of Casares, Manilva, but 1976 was an independent village.
The village has incredibly beautiful surroundings, behind the village rises the beautiful Sierra Bermeja mountains, vineyards and Mediterranean.
It is Moskatel grapes that make up the majority of the plantations. It is also these grapes used for the famous local wines.
When to visit Manilva
Summer can be very hot, especially in July / August. Spring and fall are very pleasant periods to be in the area.
In september, the famous wine festival. An incredible festival that villagers talking about all year. Are you able to be here at this time, it is well worth a visit in the village.
Winter can be beautiful during the day but the evenings can get cold and snow occurs.
