Kenya’s most famous national park is Masai Mara, bordering the more famous Serengeti in Tanzania. The park gets its name from the African tribe that inhabit the area, the famous Masai often seen wrapped in their red blankets while they guard their livestock. This savannah offers one of the best places in the world to see the big cats as Leopards and Cheetahs in the wild. The great migration takes place between Masai Mara and Serengeti twice a year, when huge amounts of animals moves from one park to the other.
